It is well known that the Oxygen barrier performance of metalised polyester laminations used in liquid packaging will gradually deteriorate during transportation of the packed product.

This is due to the flex cracking of the laminated construction.

Other factors that may also contribute to the loss of barrier are:

1: Viscosity of liquid being transported
2: The ratio between liquid product in the bag, and the packaging surface area
3: Carton size to liquid pouch size, etc.

When using Extrusion Lamination as a means of bonding different substrates together, a bonding layer is created that is flexible, durable and similar in nature to the materials used in the lamination process, i.e. the LLDPE sealant layer.

In a world where environmental issues can no longer be ignored, it’s important that we all become more proactive about protecting the environment, and it is for this reason that the lamination process Maverick Flexible has adopted does not contain any solvents or adhesives in the manufacturing process.

This is a huge benefit, which contributes positively to the environmental aspect that is challenging the Flexible packaging market globally.

CMP MNP
Winelam, is a metalised three layer high barrier material with excellent seal ability and downstream process ability. We are able to adapt the COF to the customer's specific requirements, while keeping quality and cost in mind.

It is typically suitable for Bag-in-Box and liquid packaging.
Nylam, is a metalised PET and Nylon three-layer high barrier material. It is durable and tough, offering excellent Flex durability; as well as excellent seal ability and downstream process ability.

It is typically suitable for Bag-in-Box and liquid packaging which is subjected to that "extra abuse"
PV MP
PV, is a clear PET two layer barrier material.

We are able to offer various levels of barrier, specific to the customers needs.

CPP offers excellent seal ability and downstream process ability.

It is typically suitable for SUP, liquid packaging and dry goods.
MPP, is a metalised PET two-layer barrier material.

It offers excellent seal ability and downstream process ability.

It is typically suitable for SUP and for dry goods.
CPL CBP
Clear Polyester Lamination, is a two-layer low barrier material with excellent seal ability and downstream process ability.

It is typically suitable that no shelf life is required for Stand Up Pouch and Form Fill seal packaging items.
Clear Barrier Lamination is a two-layer barrier lamination with various barrier options available. It is durable and tough lamination, offering excellent Flex durability; as well as excellent seal ability and downstream process ability.

It is typically suitable for Bag-in-Box and liquid packaging which is subjected to that "extra abuse"
